This achievement marks the highest position attained by Panama in the last 9 years. The Panamanian passport currently grants visa-free access to 149 countries, and starting from April 1, 2024, Panamanians will be exempt from the visa requirement to enter Japan. This development makes the Panamanian passport highly coveted, underlining Panama's international significance in terms of travel freedom.
